Homeshare

Care and independence

Through Homeshare, adults with a developmental disability share a home with someone who provides ongoing support. Homeshare can be a great arrangement for many, because it can provide support and independence tailored to the individual.

Residential arrangements may vary. For example, an individual could have a furnished room and bathroom in a house owned by the Homeshare provider or live independently in a space operated by the provider. Support is flexible and evolves according to an individual’s changing needs — from minimal support to a good deal of daily help.
