Krista Germyn
Krista Germyn, Director of Clinical Service Delivery
Krista has been working in the field of youth service for well over a decade. She brings her experience in a variety of roles to Sea to Sky Community Services as the Director of Clinical Service Delivery. Starting her career in the non profit sector in various youth programs, Krista built her foundational skills and knowledge in a multi service youth centre focusing on the drop-in program, youth shelter and the development and coordination of a drug and alcohol prevention program. These experiences helped Krista develop a keen understanding of the needs of vulnerable youth. Additionally, Krista worked as a youth outreach worker ensuring that relationships with young people and community partners were at the heart of her practice. Lastly, as the Youth Services Coordinator for a regional municipality, she focused on community social development, supervising a team of staff and working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on the Youth Service Plan for the city.
It has been Krista’s greatest privilege to be invited into the lives of young people, assisting in their development as a mentor and creating needed programs and services. As a Registered Social Worker, Krista’s education and training compliment her experience well. She is excited to continue to bring her passion for this work to Squamish and ensure that local young people have what they need to thrive.
Caitlin Anderson
Caitlin Anderson (she/her), Manager of Youth Services
Caitlin Anderson has worm many hats at SSCS, now Manager of Youth Services. She started with Sea to Sky Community Services as a Youth Worker at the previous Squamish Youth Resource Centre in 2016 and shortly after began coordinating the youth programs. Caitlin studied Social Work in Sudbury Ontario and it was during that time she discovered her desire to support young people and that she could use her love of experiential learning and the outdoors to do so. She has worked for a variety of wilderness based therapeutic programs for youth including leading extensive coastal canoeing and hiking expeditions in Alaska. She brings her experience working for several outdoor education companies, summer camps, youth drop in centers and outreach services.
Her desire to see youth find happiness and joy in life is what motivates her to provide meaningful and fun programs. You can expect to see her smiling and laughing alongside the youth programs.

Fun Fact: I rescued a kitten, which ended up being pregnant, and had six little kittens running around my house at some point. Went from never owning a pet to owning six! They all found homes and the mom (Blake) now lives with me.
